Allied Health Central officially launched February 2018 and is a privately owned allied health resource and education business based in Australia.  Our mission is to ‘Connect Health Professionals & Learning’ by providing allied health professionals with quality and affordable ongoing learning opportunities, practical skills and continuing professional development.  All in the one place!

My name is Lisa Stromborg, Founder of Allied Health Central.  I come from an psychology background, which I augmented and broadened my knowledge in marketing and management with a Masters degree.

Prior to having children, I spent nine years working in post graduate management education and went on to manage my own consulting business after the birth of my son.  I have always had a passion for health and wellness and after working for four years with allied health professionals I came to realise that there was very little in the way of a resource hub for allied health professionals generally.  Yes, there are specific practice associations, and these are great and most certainly of benefit.  However, I saw an opportunity to provide a service to allied health professionals where they could access resources, professional development and other opportunities at low or no cost and be a part of the wider allied health community.

Our vision at Allied Health Central is to help busy allied health professionals enhance their knowledge and skills, and grow their careers by being able to find relevant healthcare learning and information in the one spot.
